1/17/07 Ayudamos has opened its first office in Santiago Atitlan at the Santiaguito school. Vivian helped me find the beautiful furniture that is shown in this picture. Believe it or not, this hand made carved furniture costs less than metal office furniture! Already, I have had numerous moms and other people drop in to say hello and check out what Ayudamos is doing there. In fact we are already having new families apply for the next school year in 2008. It is very productive for us to have a permanent space to work in. We are hoping to have another intern working with the foundation this coming spring, so that person will also have a great space to work in; close to the kids and close to nature.
