This past week has been a real flurry of activity. I have just said goodbye to Jennifer St. John, Erin Young and Robin Bain, of Road Less Travelled Productions, Toronto, who were here for the second time filming their documentary film about The Ayudamos Foundation and the work we are doing here in Santiago Atitlan.

We visited and interviewed the families that we built the first two homes for, interviewed some of the families from Panabaj who lost their houses and toured the devastated area. We had many laughs with the families and a few tears were shed as painful stories were recounted. All in all, it was very rewarding to tour the finished houses and discover how the families now viewed their changed futures with secure places to live. They are all thankful to have a proper roof over their heads as they nervously anticipate another rainy season.

I am here for another week and then leave for El Remate May 4th to meet with the local women's group and Anne Lossing, formerly of Calgary, to determine our involvement with them in the future.
